Jigme Tenzin the co-founder of Innovest, helps visionary entrepreneurs to build scalable, impact-driven startups in areas of business development, financial planning and internal controls. He is also the founder of housinng.bt, a digital platform transforming Bhutan’s real estate market by fostering transparent and efficient connections between buyers, sellers, and renters.
Corporate Legal Advisor
Namgyel Wangchuk is a corporate lawyer with extensive experience in aviation, commercial, and corporate law. He previously served as Deputy General Manager at Tashi Group, advising on matters across its diverse portfolio including airline, telecom, and hospitality. As Head of Legal & Company Secretary at Drukair, he led regulatory reforms, drafted key aviation legislation, and advised on aircraft leasing and acquisition matters. He has successfully represented clients in high-value litigation involving commercial contracts, property disputes, and debt recovery. His practice encompasses company formation, mergers, arbitration, and insolvency.
Corporate Legal Advisor
Phub Dorji brings over two decades of legal experience spanning the judiciary, corporate sector, and private practice. He served as General Manager & Head Legal at the Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan, where he advised the Board on complex insurance, credit, and regulatory matters. A certified arbitrator, he has presided over numerous high-value construction and commercial disputes. His expertise includes corporate governance, banking law, debt recovery, and policy drafting. He has led litigation for major financial institutions, successfully recovering substantial sums in non-performing loan cases. Phub Dorji also serves as an adjunct faculty member on corporate and banking law.
Investment Strategy Consultant
Thinley Wangchuk, with over a decade of experience in New York’s financial sector, excels in micro-cap portfolio management, equity research, and financial analysis. As an Investment Strategy Consultant at Innovest, he can optimize portfolios, identify undervalued opportunities, analyze special situations, and enhance risk management, driving strategic growth with his deep market expertise.
Research and Innovation
Dr. Tandin Dorji is a distinguished researcher and educator with over 25 years of experience in anthropology, policy development, and institutional leadership. A former President of Norbuling Rigter College and Head of Research at IMS, he has contributed to national human development reports, GNH curriculum, and civic education for UNDP, UNICEF, and the Royal Government of Bhutan. At Innovest, he leads research, EoI development, and investment readiness initiatives aligned with Bhutan’s mindful growth vision.
Accounting Advisor
Sushila Pradhan is an experienced Accounting Advisor with over 20 years of expertise in bookkeeping and financial management. An MBA graduate from the University of Canberra (RIM Campus), she has supported diverse businesses—from startups to state-owned corporations—in maintaining accurate records, payroll, and regulatory compliance. Known for her practical approach and attention to detail, she helps businesses streamline financial processes for sustainable growth.
Project Associate
Sonam Tina Rai is a graduate in English Studies from Royal Thimphu College (RTC), currently working at Innovest Private Limited as a Project Associate. Supports Business Accelerator programs, contributing to initiatives under Jabchor, coordinating events, and performing MC responsibilities. Also assists with Customer Service Specialist–related duties, supporting client coordination and service delivery.
Programme Associate
Zara Rose Biesse is a motivated and high-achieving prospective law student. She serves as a Programme Associate at Innovest Private Limited, where she supports program planning, coordination, implementation, and stakeholder engagement. With a strong foundation in communication, commerce, and cross-cultural collaboration, she contributes to the successful delivery of initiatives such as Jabchor 2.0. Recognised for her academic excellence and organisational abilities, she brings analytical thinking and a proactive approach to advancing business and development-focused programs.
Company Secretary/Legal Officer
Kinley Rinzin holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Post Graduate Diploma in National Law (LL.B./PGDNL) from the Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law. His professional background includes practical legal and policy experience across various public and non-profit institutions. With the introduction of the Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC), he aspires to contribute as a legal professional in the evolving corporate and regulatory landscape.
Junior Corporate Secretarial Executive
Tsheten Wangmo is a graduate of Royal Thimphu College (RTC) with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a certified Pelsup. At Innovest, she manages client immigration processes, ensuring the timely and compliant handling of visas, permits, and related documentation. Also assists with company incorporation, including preparing documentation, coordinating with relevant authorities, and following up throughout the process. In addition, supports client coordination and customer service functions, contributing to efficient service delivery and a smooth client experience.
Associate Analyst
Jigme Choden is currently pursuing an Master’s in Business Administration ( Integrated) with a specialization in Finance and Banking from NIIT University, India, and is working at Innovest Private Limited as an Associate Analyst. In her role, she contributes to company incorporation processes within Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) and is actively involved in key programs such as Phensem EDP and Jabchor, while also supporting research initiatives. She handles client coordination, facilitates meetings, and prepares reports to ensure smooth project execution and effective service delivery. Jigme is known for her strong communication and coordination skills and is also a passionate runner, reflecting her discipline and commitment both professionally and personally.
Legal Officer
Karma Sangay Nima is a recent graduate of the Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law, where she earned a LLB and a Postgraduate Diploma in National Law (PGDNL). She currently serves as a Legal Officer and Company Secretariat at Innovest Gelephu Pte. Ltd., supporting corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and company secretarial functions.
Through her academic training and practical experience, she has developed a strong foundation in legal research, dispute resolution, corporate law, and regulatory compliance, demonstrating a commitment to delivering effective and practical legal solutions.
